Football Season is HERE!!!

September 5, 2011

Hey loves!!! How was your weekend?! Mine was fan-freakin-tastic! Its that time of year again..FOOTBALL SEASON!! My parents set up a huge tailgate every home game (they LOVE doing it!!!) and my friends come by and we eat delicious food and socialize!

My BEAUTIFUL roomies!!!

Shout out to my friend Brant- who says he is a faithful reader of the blog!!! EVERYBODY SAY HEY TO BRANT!!!!!!

Oats in a container! with skippy natural honey PB

IS that ice cream? NOPE.. goat cheese w. strawberry jam!

1 Josephs pita with protein powder/almond milk/yogurt mixture

The usual night time snack- kettle corn with peanut flour!

Sweet tater fries w. melted white cheddar!

protein powder mixed with 1 egg, yogurt, baking powder,, stevia, baked at 350 for about 10-15 min! topped w. maple syrup

More enchiladas!! (recipe on a previous post!)

Just an example of how MASSIVE my shakes are at night, haha! My roomate goes "umm are you REALLY eating all of that?!" um heck YES. my fav combo as of late is 1 scoop chocolate casein (i use ON all natural!), 1 cup vanilla almond milk, 1 cup water, handful of salted peanuts, a few scoops of peanut flour, a little peice of a frozen naner, cottage cheese, 1 frozen dannon light n fit vanilla yogurt, cocoa powder, stevia, guar gum, ICE!

Josephs lavish pita w. 1 egg and turkey peps

Cinnamon sugar toast! Brings me back to my child hood :)

Seriously cant remember whats in this- except avocado and a fried egg, haha

This is an awful pic, because I was like almost done eating it, but I made a hamburger salad and thought of this beautiful woman!

Also made this delish black bean brownie!

Thats all!! I am sitting in class right now and really should be paying attention. Be back soon with a Rudi’s review and the importance of CARBS!! Guys- It is so important to EAT enough at our age. Enough of EVERYTHING- the protein, carbs, fat.. the whole shebang. Please take care of yourself ladies! (and men!)

Life is so beautiful. Oh my goodness gracious. The Lord is stupidly good ALL the freaking time!! Every single thing has a purpose.

“By wisdom the Lord laid the earth’s foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place”-prov3:19.. READING PROVERBS RIGHT NOW AND ITS ROCKING ME!!!!!!!

I’m so glad I just found your blog! I’ve been looking for one that combines “faith and fitness” for awhile because both are important to me! I’ve been looking at it on and off all weekend, since unfortunately I wasn’t feeling too good for most of it. :p I’m better now though and just enjoyed a run around my school’s stadium! :D
Another completely off-topic thought, but where did you get your lovely dress you are wearing in the tailgating pictures? :)
